Using this site
You may read, print and use the entries here for your own craft work, including work you sell, provided the text and the step drawings are not republished as your own reference material. Bulk copying of entries into another site, a book or a course is not permitted without written permission.
Measurements and no warranty
Cord lengths, thicknesses and finished dimensions are given in good faith from working samples, but cotton cord varies between manufacturers and between dye lots. Test a small piece before committing a full project, and treat every measurement here as a starting point rather than a guarantee.
Loads and safety
Nothing on this site is engineering, climbing or load-rating advice. A plant hanger in 4 mm cotton cord is a decorative object, not a life-safety system. Check every hook, ring and wall fixing against the loaded weight, keep cord away from heat and flame, and never use a decorative knot where a failure could injure someone.
Intellectual property
The text, the step line drawings and the layout of this site belong to Clamber Knots. You are welcome to link to any entry. The names of knots themselves are common property and no claim is made over them.
